Have an Axe Throwing adventure at American Paintball Coliseum in Aurora

When you and your group arrive, we will begin group check-in once everyone is present. At this time, our service staff will assist participants with filling out waivers and answering any questions you may have about the experience. Once everyone is ready, our lane supervisor will lead the group to our outdoor axe throwing lanes.

The axe throwing lanes are outdoors, and through the summer months, the area is covered with sunshades to help players stay cool. In the winter, heaters are present to warm the area, weather permitting.

Our lane expert will provide a safety orientation to all throwers and teach the basic technique of throwing an axe to get it to stick in the board. Each axe-throwing lane features a target marked on wooden boards with a scoring system. A bullseye is marked in red, with smaller blue dots for extra points.

Once the basics are covered, let the games begin! Each lane has a QR code that allows you to explore different game modes to play with your group. There is also an option to keep score while playing. Our lane supervisor will periodically check in with your group to ensure everyone is "getting the stick," as we like to say. Your event will finish once your time expires or your group is done playing. Most groups enjoy their experience for up to two hours.

Our axe throwing lanes feature a snack bar with snacks, candy, and non-alcoholic beverages.

You are welcome to bring your own food at no additional charge.

Free waters are available upon request to your lane supervisor.

Getting to us is easy from all directions.

Take E-470 to Quincy Avenue.
Head east on Quincy Avenue past the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds. Look for a massive satellite dish, and turn left into the parking lot marked with American Paintball Coliseum.
Parking is easily accessible, and your event will begin near the entrance.

Axe throwing at our lanes in Denver is an outdoor activity. Participants are encouraged, but not limited to bring these items:
