Update 2/24/25: Three fields are ready to play! More obstacles are getting added everyday. Currently working on our ‘Airport’ field. Store is open and fields are operating 7 days a week. Axe throwing lanes are getting installed to be open mid to late March.
Update 2/10/25: We’ve been hard at work developing fields and improving our staging areas. Now scheduling for Spring Break and summer. All events and occasions welcome 7 days a week.

Update 12/3/24: APC Aurora will be open for business 7 days a week beginning Monday, December 16th!
All operation in Denver will transition to this location. APC Denver will be moving to this location for all events into the future.
American Paintball Coliseum is now in Aurora! Ten acres just outside of the Denver area have been developed and improved to be the number one action sports park in Colorado.
This new location features our four activities signature activities; paintball, airsoft, laser tag and axe throwing. We are accepting players every day and are open in winter hours 7 days a week. Additionally, this location offers paintball and airsoft supplies on-site.
Our store sells paintball guns, airsoft guns, gear & accessories, pads, masks, CO2 fills and more.
The first paintballs were shot last November. American Paintball Coliseum had our official opening date on December 16th, 2024!

TIP: look for the massive satellite dish to mark the fields.
APC Aurora is accessible from all around the Denver metro area via E-470 or Quincy avenue. Two large parking lots offer plenty of space everyone to meet up for an epic paintball or airsoft adventure.
Playing Fields
American Paintball Coliseum Aurora is will offer 7 fields for players to enjoy. Each field has a unique theme inspired by video game favorites and culture classics.
Players can look forward to navigating airplanes on in our Airport field, play traditional hyperball from former glory days or charge through the trees with Colorado’s only woodsball field!
Speedball and competition players are treated with two, regulation sized tournament fields coming later in 2025. This is meant to be a space for all players to enjoy some weekend fun and practicing to be the top competition in the state.
This location in Aurora will also be the new home of the Rocky Mountain Paintball League for teams around the country to travel, compete and play.
Multiple Activities
We have something for everyone! American Paintball Coliseum is known for offering a variety of extreme sports. American Paintball Coliseum in Aurora will continue to do the same. Our fields and store are open 7 days a week, even through winter.
Laser tag is a great activity for kids and adults alike. This will be the only location in Colorado to offer outdoor laser tag; the perfect activity for your next birthday party or teambuilding event.
Axe throwing is great for a date night or company party catered to participants that do not want to play a sport that has projectiles. Our axe throwing lanes are currently getting installed and will be operational by the end of March ’25.
Paintball is suitable for ages 8 years and older with airsoft and axe throwing being action packed for ages 10 and older.
Paintball and Airsoft Store
Another key feature coming to Aurora is a full service gear store for paintball and airsoft supplies. Inside the main building located in the center of the property gives us an opportunity to hold paintball and airsoft merchandise, supplies and accessories.
Players like you can shop all your favorites brands like Valken, JT, Planet Eclipse, Condor, G&G, and HK Army to name a few right in Aurora.
Our store will also keep regular accessories in stock that players need on the field too. CO2, pods, squeegees, green gas and soft goods are just a few categories that will be available every day of the week.
How We Got Here
You might be wondering how this all started. In the midst of 2020 the APC team began the process of turning a piece of raw land into a developed business to serve the people in the area. For almost two years the project was in planning, working through the permitting process.
We have worked closely with Arapahoe County and the City of Aurora to make sure the project was developed in a way that will last for generations.
Once plans had been approved, it was time to excavate the earth to the proper dimensions. This meant heavy machinery coming in to make the land match what was on paper. The vision was one step closer to reality.
Once excavation was complete, smaller details were required to move towards building our unique paintball and airsoft fields. Things like stop signs, fencing, and gates have been installed for smooth operation that best serves our customers.
Moving into 2024 the work of turning the location into playing fields began. Cars, busses, barrels, airplanes and natural obstacles are being brought in and constructed to offer the most fun fields possible.
With the hard work of our team, the first customers shot paintballs in mid November.
Grand Opening in 2025
Now that our permits have been completed, the fields have been built and our equipment has been moved, the last step is to invite the community to play! Over winter we will be accepting customers and fine-tuning our new home. Full operation will begin on December 16th for everyone to enjoy.
Coming into spring of 2025 we will host a grand opening event to kick off a brand new experience in Aurora! Continuing into summer we will be at full steam ready to serve the community with the best paintball and airsoft action around.
